Anglo-Saxon Zoomorphic Pendant. Circa 7th-9th century AD. Silver, 0.66 grams. 17.41 mm. An interesting and very small pendant or strap-end. The piece is formed of a stylised animal head with a long shaft that is pierced. This hole would have been used, either for suspension or securing to a strap. From an old private collection, found mid 1980's.
